Conventional agriculture has long operated on principles that damage the soil. Its structure is degraded by heavy machinery, chemical pesticides, and high water and energy consumption — and this has become the norm. Agrokruh offers an alternative rooted in respect for nature, its rhythms, and its cycles. At the same time, it is a path of innovation, automation, and robotics that brings agriculture into a new era.

According to the founder Janko Šlinský, the ideal farm has 2 hectares, 15 circles, and can support 60 four-member families. It is designed to protect the soil and to teach future generations that what we give to it comes back to us. This is a future that has the shape of a circle.

Life purpose

From a childhood dream to a revolution in farming

Ing. Ján Šlinský, founder of the Agrokruh system, discovered his passion for growing vegetables already as a schoolboy. After studying horticulture and gaining hands-on experience at an agricultural cooperative, he realized that industrial farming inevitably leads to soil decline. He went on to become Slovakia’s first officially certified organic vegetable grower and devoted his life to searching for a truly sustainable alternative. He believes there is only one kind of real vegetable — one grown without chemicals. And ideally, grown in a circle.
