What is needed to set up an Agrokruh?
To start growing, you’ll need flat farmland with access to water and electricity. We provide both the technology and the guidance to help you get started.
Is Agrokruh suitable only for experienced farmers?
Not at all. The system is easy to operate and accessible to everyone. If you are just starting out in farming, we are happy to share our know-how with you. When you choose the Large Farm with 15 circles (5 arms) and opt for chemical-free, ecological cultivation in line with the Agrokruh system, the price includes complete know-how and personal consultations with Janko Šlinský, the founder of the Agrokruh system, for two full growing seasons.

Is it possible to achieve a good yield without chemical intervention?
Yes, it is possible — though we won’t hide that it requires great effort. We understand the difficult conditions growers face today: weather fluctuations, spring frosts, dry periods alternating with heavy rains, or pest infestations. None of that makes their work easier. As committed ecologists who strictly reject chemical plant protection, we are therefore intensively working on developing a mechanical protection system for circular fields using nets. You’ll learn more about it by the end of 2025.
Which crops can be grown with Agrokruh?
Most commonly grown vegetables, herbs, and flowers work well — as long as they stay below the height of the rotating arm. We’ll be happy to recommend specific varieties that are best adapted to your climate and growing conditions.
Which Agrokruh system variant is right for me?
It all depends on how much vegetables, herbs, or flowers you want to grow. If farming is your business and you need Agrokruh for an agricultural business, choose the Large Farm variant — with five arms creating 15 circles. This setup allows you to produce enough vegetables for approximately 60 families of four. If you’re growing primarily for yourself, your family, or your local community, go for the Small Farm variant — one arm that can manage up to three circles.
What’s the expected return on investment?
To be completely honest — there’s no single answer. The return on investment depends on many factors: the location of your farm, soil quality, your level of experience, future weather conditions, and the price you’re able to sell your produce for.
The founder of Agrokruh, Janko Šlinský, often responds with counter-question: “What is the value of your health?” Once you reflect on that, you may realize that economic return is not the only — and perhaps not even the most important — measure of success.
